The guitarist Jan "Örkki" Yrlund is happy to announce a new endorsement co-operation with the guitar builders of Amfisound. These handmade high quality guitars are build by qualified craftsmen in Oulu-area in Finland. Now Jan plays an Amfisound Custom Les Paul with EMG pickups and another special customized Les Paul is being build for him at the moment. The project ANGEL of Helena Iren Michaelsen and other IMPERIA guys (Jan, Gerry, John, Steve and Audun) have signed a recording deal with the Greek label BLACK LOTUS RECORDS. Needless to say the guys are thrilled about this co-operation.
Already in January 2005 ANGEL recorded a four-song promotional single, which will be released soon trough BLACK LOTUS RECORDS.
In the end of February ANGEL hits the studio again in Germany to record their debut full-length. There will be some 12 songs on the album and the style is very different from that of IMPERIA. Helena will be experimenting with her voice more and she'll use more of her normal voice. The album will also be less metal oriented than IMPERIA is.

This friday, the 11th, IMPERIA will play in the Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam as a support to NIGHTWISH. The concert has been sold out for a long time already, but for those of you who have a ticket we can inform that IMPERIA will have their merchandise stand present where you can buy CDs and the brand new IMPERIA T-shirts.
The doors open at 18.30 and the IMPERIA showtime is scheduled at 19.25 hours, so be sure to be on time!

The first Summer Festival concert for 2005 has been confirmed: on 30th of July IMPERIA will play at Stonehenge Festival 2005. This festival has earned it's good reputation through the 10 years by being one of the most devoted metal festivals in The Netherlands. IMPERIA will play two shows at Archeon Midwinter Fair 2004 , which takes place in the Archeon themapark (Alphen aan den Rijn, NL) on 18th and 19th of December. It is a Fantasy and Gothic Fair with a lot of acts, performances, lectures, presentations, workshops, exhibitions and a Gothic & Fantasy market. The music shows will take place in the "Middeleeuwse Klooster".

IMPERIA has been confirmed to EuroSonic Festival 2005 (part of the Noorderslag - weekend) in Groningen (NL). The festival takes place on 14.01.2005. There are more than 110 bands on 20 different stages participating, so be sure not to miss that one!

The local television station OOG TV from Groningen (NL) made an exclusive interview and two videoclips (the songs "In Your Mind" and "Angelchild") with Helena yesterday. The result can be seen two days long in the Art & Culture program "Koelkast" on this TV station. On Friday 12.11 you can see the program 14 times between 17.30-01.00. On Saturday 13.11 the program will be repeated another 10 times!

Now some news for the Belgian listeners: you can check out the IMPERIA interview on Monday 25th between 19.00 and 22.00 at Radio pANIK (ONDE DE CHOC Radioshow). The frequency is 105,4 Mhz and the radio broadcasts through the Brussels area.

On Thursday 21st of October you can catch up Helena with a live interview on Psychocircusradio. The Metal show broadcasts between 21.00. - 23.00. You can listen to the program through their internet-site, but also on FM 106.4 and 93.1 on kabel in the area of Groenlo (NL). The FM broadcast can be heard in the big part of eastern-Netherlands and over the border in Germany.
As many of the subscribers of the biggest Dutch Metal magazine Aardschok have noticed, the new issue gives a lot of attention to IMPERIA and the new album. Next to an extensive 2-page interview also a nice review can be found in it. We added the review already here, you can check it out at "Album Reviews". The first CD-reviews of "The Ancient Dance Of Qetesh" are coming in! We can already now inform you that the album will be the CD of the month in the Belgian Metal magazine MindView. The album receives the highest possible score: 7/7 (Platina). We'll add the review and the upcoming interview online soon!
On 7th of November IMPERIA will play a concert at MindView Metal Convention in Stekene (B). IMPERIA has made a special acoustic set for this occasion - so be sure not to miss it! The show starts at 16.30 and before that IMPERIA will have a signing session at 15.00.

A lot of news today!
Finally the new album "The Ancient Dance Of Qetesh" is out there!! Together with the release we have also updated the whole official website and given it a totally new fresh look!
Not only the graphical look has changed, but we have also changed some things with the
navigation to make it even more easy and logical to use.
We also have added loads and loads of new live-pictures from the past couple of shows! A big thanks for all the photographers! Keep them coming!
Now you will also find a new page about the "band" and it's members. Soon we will add more detailed information there.
Two videoclips have been shot: "Into Paradise" and "Angelchild". Expect some samples of those online soon too! You can find some sneak-preview photo's of the videoshoot of "Angelchild" at the "Misc. Photos", aswell as still pictures from the "Into Paradise" video-clip.
And last but not least, Helena will be giving an interview and a live-performance on friday 15th on Radio Hoekse Waard from 22.00 onwards (the Radio station broadcasts in the area of Rotterdam / Dordrecht / North-West Brabant on kabel FM 105.9 / ether 96.0). The show is called T.N.T.
