'Don't Wanna Run' is the title of the single of Angel's new album and it contains a special single edit of the title track, an acoustic version of 'Mother' and two more songs. What I'm listening on this single is a very good piece of orchestral music, calm and melodic with Helena Michaelsen's beautiful vocals on the foreground backed up by a great prchestral background. For the three first songs because on the fourth track ('Darkness') we have a weird, aggressive vocal oriented song with musical background of drum machine and a pretty weird interpretation from Helena Michaelsen. Anyway the title track is really great so I'm waiting with anxiety their full album that should be pretty interesting if not anything more than that. Andreas Kounnas/ www.metal-realm.com |
