		Angel: A Woman’s Diary - Chapter 1 (Black Lotus records) So not long after I received the promo single from Angel's new album and the full length arrived as well, and I have to say that I was expecting this with curiosity because the single was a pretty good appetizer. I have to say that the full album really impressed me! First of all I have to speak about the musical style of "A Woman's Diary: Chapter I" which is not an easy buisiness because the diversity that characterizes Angel's work. Styles that vary from Darkwave to gothic metal and from symphonic metal to pop ballads also very diverse to the feelings and the mood that delivers, from the bright and optimistic ballad "Glow In Dark" to the most twisted and dark feelings of "Darkness". Helena also uses her voice in very different way from deep gothic vocals to operetic singingand she's perfect at everything she tries! twelve songs full of emotion, atmosphere and melody are building this album that for sure is one of the best albums of the year so far in the genre I'm covering!
